Electra Ramat Hasharon won over Elizur Holon 80:76, thus reached a 2:1 wins in the quarter final play-off series.
The 1st quarter seemed over when Ramat Hasharon opened brilliantly and led 28:12 after 10 minutes. Ambrosia Anderson took control over the game with half the team's score (14 points), with the others playing well with her.
The 2nd quarter turned differently. Holon managed to cut the difference, mainly using its Israeli team members, against a scattered game of Ramat Hasharon. By half game the result was 42:34, still with prominent advantage for Ramat Hasharon. The 3rd quarter was an even match with the difference fluctuates between 8-11 points, to reach 64:55 for Electra.
In the 4th quarter, Kerri Gardin of Holon started shooting from all positions, scored 11 points (total of 24 points) and led her team to an even score. Ramat Hasharon seemed at that point confused, allowing the guests to continue running with 74:69 two minutes before end game.
Only then Ramat Hasharon players showed their character and determination, sweeping the course of game with their own run of 11:2. Laine Selwyn stole a critical ball; Sheri Sam added a 3-point shot. The only 2-points made until the end by Holon were not sufficient for winning.
On Thursday, Feb. 25th, Ramat Hasharon players will travel to Holon for the 4th game in this series.
