Electra Ramat Hasharon opened the quarter final play-off series by winning over Elizur Holon 84:61 while presenting the best basket-ball game since the winter vacation.
The beginning was still close, yet the trend was clear already at the end of the 1st quarter (18:10). Electra continued to play well on both sides of the court, with Sheri Sam scoring, guarding, stealing and blocking. Half time showed 46:27. The 2nd half of the game was for the protocol only, and the coaches let all the players take part. This time it was Yael Ahronov who justified every minute on the court by leading, scoring and showing her energetic spirit which inspired the fans.
Continuing efforts of Holon to get back into the game were blocked by excellent personal guarding of Rashanda McCants, Holon's best player, by Meirav Dori and by wonderful team guarding effort with coordinated rotations. The final result, 84:61 clearly pointed Electra's superiority.

On Thursday, Feb. 11th, the team will host Hapoel Tel-Aviv for the quarter final National Cup game and on Tuesday (Feb. 16th) will go to Holon for the 2nd play-off game.
