Yael Ahronov, Ramat Hasharon's player set a record on Saturday by shooting 10 of 10 3-point shots. The competition is held by ONE the Internet site. The competition covers also the men's basketball super league teams with the best result so far is Andrew Wiznievski of Maccabi Tel Aviv who scored 9/10 and the bonus shot from half court.

The ONE team notified Electra Ramat Hasharon about their 1st visit to a women basketball team. The players who warmed up for the competition were excited and 7 of them requested to participate. The 1st to shoot was Ambrosia Anderson who set a high standard of 8 0f 10 shots. Lindsay Krasna shot 6 of 10, Laine Selwyn 7 of 10 plus the long half-court bonus shot. Shira Haelion, Meirav Dori and Ayelet Cohen all scored 6 of10 and then the last player took the ball. Yael Ahronov shot the first two in and in went the two following 3-point shots. The 5th shot almost didn't make it but the ball found its way in and the 6th went straight in the net. After the 7th shot went inside, the court became silent. Everybody present was watching Yael score her 9th shot and they all stood up for the last one. It was Ahronov who kept cool, got the ball and went for the shot. The ball went on a tall arch meeting the net from above.

For a split second Yael seemed as if she doesn't understand what happened, until her team mates jumped with joy on her. Now Yael started her own show, asking everybody to cheer her up for the bonus shot. This shot was close but did not get in. Yael promised the team to bring ice cream for practice the day after, which she of course did.
