Electra Ramat Hasharon won over Hapoel Tel Aviv 92:56 at the quarter final National Cup series, thus secured its participation in the semi-final game. The rival team will be announced on Feb. 16th at the draw of the Basketball Federation.
Ramat Hasharon, who showed its good ability of the beginning of the season opened the game well, yet Hapoel was stubborn and stayed within a close score (1st quarter 18:16 for Electra). In the 2nd quarter Ramat Hasharon enlarged the difference gradually until 41:32. The first 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter Electra ran 11:0, which determined the result. In spite of several comeback trials by Hapoel, Ramat Hasharon players continued to play good defense and played show-time moments headed by Ambrosia Anderson and Meirav Dori.
Again all players were allowed to participate and again it was Yael Ahronov who brought energy into the court. Katia Levitski did not play due to a light injury from the game against Holon, but she will resume playing in the 2nd play-off game, to be held at Katsir Sports Hall in Holon on Feb. 16th at 19:45.
